Instructions For Use For Pre-existing Ingrown Hairs/Razor Bumps

These instructions apply to men and women.

Tend Skin needs time on the skin undisturbed to work. Be sure to apply to dry skin. Apply at night before sleep and again in the morning after showering, shaving, and drying. Do not wash off. Moisturizer or cologne can be applied over the product once it dries.

Once skin clears, apply Tend Skin liquid daily to maintain. Adjust usage over time to determine the least usage needed.

Tend Skin Uses For Women

FOR SHAVING: Once skin clears, apply Tend Skin after shaving to maintain clarity and to help reduce post-shaving to maintain clarity and to help reduce post-shave redness. Change the blade when it loses the �New Blade� Feeling. Any �scraping� of the skin will work against the product and worsen ingrown hairs.

FOR USE WITH ELECTROLYSIS: Apply Tend Skin before treatment as a cleanser. Apply after treatment to help reduce the appearance of redness, and minimize post-treatment �bumping.�

FOR USE WITH WAXING: Applying Tend Skin liquid before waxing will ease the wax �pull.� The hairs will feel �loosened�. Applying after waxing helps improve the appearance of skin redness in 15-20 minutes and helps minimize next-day post-wax bumping.

MAINTAINING CLEAR SKIN: Once skin has cleared, apply Tend Skin several times weekly to maintain clarity.

Tend Skin Uses for Men

FOR THOSE WITH INGROWN HAIRS/RAZOR BUMPS ON FACES, NECKS, BACK OF THE NECKS AND SCALPS Use Tend Skin twice daily until clear as directed. Then use Tend Skin daily after shaving to maintain clear skin. Replace razor blade as soon as it does not have that �new blade� feel. Otherwise, the scraping will not make the problems worse. You can use a blade, clippers, etc. Use a blade for closet shave. The appearance of any �bumps� may be reduced if you apply Tend Skin liquid after a blade shave.

Tend Skin Waterproof Body Lotion Moisturizer

Based on customer inquiries, Tend Skin developed a moisturizer. Tend Skin opted for a high end product that spared no expense.

Tend Skin discovered two major ingredient types that are not yet used together in a moisturizing product. One type is the Ceramide group of ingredients. The other is an ingredient derived from the sweet White Lupin plant.

Together, these two ingredient groups account for over 70% of the product�s cost. The remaining ingredients are pretty typical of what is found in most moisturizers.

Ceramides These chemicals comprise the lipid portion of the skin. There are three Ceramides used in this product including Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6-11, and Ceramide1. Phytosphingosine, a Ceramide precursor is also included in the mix.

The skin surface layer, or Stratun Corneum, consists of two components: Dead cells that derive from the lower layers of the skin and work their way to the surface as new cells form beneath them, and the space between these cells, or intercellular space. It is in this intercellular space that Ceramides, other lipids, fatty acids and even cholesterol, which is an ingredient in the product, resides. Their purpose is to help maintain the moist suppleness of the skin�s surface. Ceramides comprise about 40-50% of skin barrier lipids, so it makes sense that these compounds should be included in a moisturizing product.

Sweet white lupin

The white lupin plant group has been known for at least 50 years, however interest in sweet white lupin in skin products is recent. It acts as an emollient by reducing water loss from the skin due to its barrier properties.

The remaining ingredients include: water, glycerin, emulsifying wax, cholesterol, sodium lauroyl lactylate, carbomer, xantham gum, methylparaben, propylparaben, cetearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, isopropyl palmitate, mineral oil, sodium pca behentrimonium methosulfate, diazolidinyl urea, sweet almond extract, citric acid.
